2 more weeks of lectures telling us how to get a job and what a great school they are and working in post partum

why do people have their babies in the hospital??? dont get me started on my favorite soap box rant..... I mean I understand why, I really do. there is so much fear around pregnancy and birth and women hate their bodies already. but ugh, hospitals are for sick people and they are set up for the convenience of the workers. at a time when a woman should be getting lots of support and encouragement the nurses are annoyed because shes needy. and the baby in the nursery, separated from mom in the first hours of life, ugh ugh ugh.

I have to figure out a way to talk about this that doesnt alienate people. if I want to convert them I cant make them defensive or angry. ooooh and I want to convert them, yes I do. I have a lot of energy, I could change the world a little bit.

would you consider having your baby at home?
