i live around the corner from a big mens homeless shelter. we share the laundromat. sat and sun mornings there are a LOT of homeless guys doing their laundry at 7:30 am. often they have thier girlfriends with them - its like date morning or something.
anyway, i often have my very cute baby with me. he gets a lot of attention, more people talk to me than if i had had bleached hair (and if you ever have you know what i mean).
so today this guy starts talking to us about the end of the world and the war in iraq and god and being born again, blah blah blah with lots of liquor on his breath
but he did have two good malapropisms
global warning (for global warming)
and he kept saying my baby was
the fruit of my wound
i'm gonna keep that one
