I took the puppy to the store today. It's not as bad as a normal pet store, but not as good as a rescue group or direct placement. The general humane society and animal shelters down here are almost certain death. That crazy little creature was really driving me insane though, so keeping it for much longer wasn't something I could do. I seriously need to get some decent sleep and ratchet my stress level down. It was hard to leave her alone in a little enclosure there though.
