this past weekend was a whirlwind!
my bro drove our mom cross country to her new home in WI. after a medical issue my mom had was stablized, they finally made it to our place on Fri. evening!! hadn't seen either of them since Jan, so that was awesome.
on sat. morning we drove to the burbs to adopt two awesome guinea pigs for our niece and nephew. we fell in love with them! now we are seriously considering taking in two piggies ourselves! what adorable creatues they are
then we drove down to visit the family, which is always nice. drove the 3 1/2 hrs. back home and made it to writeboy's party very late. i'm glad we made it though. what a talented and nice guy! he introduced us to a few lovely individuals we've lived here for 2 yrs. and we still haven't met many people in general. being social is a good thing. must remind myself that!
on sunday we did a shoot with a very cool chick. sg hopeful jenna_fierce is such a doll!! can't say what we did but we have to give her major props for her willingness to do something that is frowned upon - not to mention a tiny bit illegal - in this society. hahahaha!
theeeen...today i had a fantastic interview. was there for 2 1/2 hours! met with three levels of mgmt, did a practical interview as well and will hear from them tomorrow. x-ing my fingers!

I looove guinea pigs!! Brian always talks of the one he used to have that died, and he always gets sad about it when brought up
