went to the bird sanctuary off the lake today with a client of mine. it is soooo cool! it's not as crazy as seeing all of the massive geese during the winter though. they are so damn huge! little goose footprints all over the snow covered beach. beautiful! if you live in the chicago area i highly suggest a winter visit to the lake at night to see all of the geese...as well as a visit to the bird sanctuary in spring/summer!
