I just read that The darkness funded their album by the singer doing music for commercials.
Maybe there's hope for me yet.

my atheist father-in-law-to-be really wants to walk his little girl down the aisle.
whatever. it was fine. my father is an episcopal deacon now, so he can take part in the service. and we got to meet with a nice, liberal, female pastor. rather than some uptight twit.

TheGasparilla festival is an annual event in Tampa, Florida. It was founded by pirates and every year for the last 100 they've had a "pirate invasion" and parade. It's sort of like Mardi Gras, with the beads and all that.
