I spent all day at the Right Track film scoring stage with John Barry and Larry Alexander (an old colleague, but check out the credits on SOM's Floodland) recording a 64-piece orchestra for a british tobacco company. Damn that sounded good. It makes remember why synthesized "instruments" are weenie.

Plus, it's good to spend a day away from the fucking office.

Part of the problem is that I was nailed to serve Grand Jury duty (which means handing down indictments) every weekday from Dec. 1 until Jan. 2 (excepting Xmas, NY Day and 2 days I'm traveling).
