Hey there, Detroiters. Quick note:

Regrettably, Backspace will not be playing the New Year's Eve show at the Labyrinth. In an effort to achieve consistency, and to deliver an incredible concert to you on the 22nd, not to mention helping Darque Productions in their tireless efforts to bring the Detroit area quality shows, we've decided to skip the New Year's Eve show. This gives us all time to redouble our efforts, work on even more surprises, and to properly execute what promises to be the first of many incredible shows we have planned for 2005. Kudos to both Ron at City Club and Brent at Darque for being the voice of reason in this decision... you know me, I just love playing - sometimes it gets in the way of my thinking!

The show with Chiasm on January 22nd promises to be an awesome event, featuring giveaways, merchandise from both bands, some of Detroit's best DJ's, and local EBMGOTHIDMTYPE merchants with cool things for you to buy and / or covet. More details on this soon.

All that aside, if you or someone you know is a vendor of either clothing, CD's, art, etc, who may have something to sell, please get in touch with me either by AIM at discordian36 or by email at backspace at comcast dot net. We may have an opportunity for you... but be quick... space is limited.

Good luck to Electrophile, Pulse State, and Venereal Injection on NYE -That's going to be a hell of a show folks, so don't miss it.
