Oh Monday. Dear, dear Monday.
If I treat you gently, will you O Monday do the same?

Look, I made you a coffee the way you like it.... double double with whole milk. I know how you scoff at the skinny drinks that other fancy schmancy places offer. I mean, look at your waist line. That is a waist line for other people to watch, not you!

I let you use all the warm water in the shower this morning... I even angled the rain shower head so that it cascades perfectly down your back the way you like it so the shampoo just rinses away on its own.

I made you lunch, it's in that bag by the door. I covered every food group even the one you deem most important: Chocolate. In fact, I hit that one up twice.

I made home made marshmallows on the weekend and packaged it in a home made box with a hand crafted paper embellishment. You can bring it to your boss as a treat. Maybe you won't get on his bad side right way, avoid trouble and he will be kinder to you.

I will make bread from scratch tonight after work for you to enjoy. I will put herbs and spices in it and make it the savoury bread that you like to dip in your soup with the butter dripping down. Would you like that?
