What to update. What am I reading, writing, or drawing, or generally, what have I been up to.
Reading If it Die by Andre Gide. Amazing. Writing nothing new. Shame. Drawing self portraits, but taking unusually objects and replacing my head with other objects. So I have a vase with flowers, a box, an elephant, and working on a series of minotaurs. Either Im a genius or just weird - probably a little of both. Was also thinking of a typewriter, but to Naked Lunch to do.
Got back from a family reunion. My mama has 13 brothers and sisters, so it was big, but I would of been happy with just a few aunts, uncles, my brother, his wife, my mama, and my neice and nephew. My neice was especially interesting. Does anyone realize that 2 and half year olds have an endless supply of energy. My brother and I took her swimming for two hours and she still didnt tire out - she stayed awake till midnight and was up at six, though she was a crank in the morning. Ill post pictures when I get them developed, and yes, I have a hate on for digital cameras.
Other than that, just a series of disasters too close to home. Floodingin Calgary got a little too close. Bombing in London was nail biting considering I have two friends who live there. Both are fine, though the girl was about two blocks away from two of the blasts, and the bus actually stops in front of her flat. Yeeesh.
Other than that, moving from my apartment to an actually house. Novel idea.

I dont know .. I feel like we are strangers. We've drifted, and I dont know if Im ready for this kind of commitment yet.
I mean, it's a big step. And this is why the Gods created the BookMark tab.
Maybe later .. when Im more comfortable and I feel like we really bonded, Ill be ready for this jump. =)
