So, so, so... where to begin? I have been doing the school thing. Its great. My classes are amazing. One is about homelessness and the teacher is really badass. And one (with my boyfriend the professor, hahaha) we just watch films and interpret them thru an urban studies lens, so that's great. And one is about grassroots environmental activism, which is very interesting and new to me in alot of ways, so I'm sure I'll learn alot. And one is a lecture series and we're gonna have great lecturers, so I'm psyched. Senior work is beginning to really terrify me, but I'm taking things one day at a time.
My new apartment is really cool, finally got my little Yuma kitty settled in and he's happy. I got a job, too, at a juicebar as per usual, and an internship with Brooklyn Parents for Peace (google it for more info, its cool)... weird part is they're both like right next to each other in the neighborhood in brooklyn where the professor lives... is fate tempting me or what? I thought I was over this!!! I'm so ready to be... and ready to graduate too. Anyway, my real love is getting ready to go down to the gulf coast and volunteer, god, he really is the best man in the world and the only one i'll ever really want to be with, like for real. But he is also moving to egypt in february, probably for like a year, but, I'll probably go visit after graduation.... sigh. so much to do before then, i'm so busy. thanx for not forgetting about me if you're reading this!!
