Feeling much better lately, especially cuz of all the wonderful comments I recieve on this site. Working everything out in the relationship dept.
Anyway, I leave for Europe in 3 weeks and have just recieved news that they're fucking with my travelling partner's passport and making him submit extra documents, so we might be really fucked...I knew I shouldn't have bought tickets on priceline, cuz I don't think you can push back the date of those flights.. AHH. Anyway, well see if the passport will actually come thru. I got mine long ago so I'm cool. Can't wait to travel...anyone have any good advice on cheap (read:free) travelling in Europe? kiss

I would love to be heading back to Europe... Stay in hostels..get in touch with a Travel Cuts or student travel agency... they can hook you up with cheap accomodations. Get an INternational Student Identity Card. (ISIC)... it can save you money on rail passes, hotels, etc. Learn a phrase, or two, at least thank you and hello in all the languages of the countries you'll be visiting. Free... unless you've got relatives or friends there... isn't the safest idea.. unless you can hook up with some SG's wherever you're headed.

You should join all the regional groups in Europe. I know for sure there's an SGUK, but I'm pretty sure there are others as well. Also, check out the Rough Guide series. Beyond that, I can't be very helpful, but there are surely plenty of resources out there for you, if you can find them.
