YAY! I finally graduated from college, and i am very happy to be done, but also a little bit scared to 'enter the real world' but i did get an award for outstanding achievement in the concentration of urbann studies. then at the university wide (i went to the newschool) commencement john mccain spoke and got an honorary degree, but he also got booed and heckled all night by angry lefty graduates (and their parents) it was great to go out with a bang!
... anyway, my dutch buddy headed back home yesterday, and i'm making a solid resolve to not become emotionally involved with anyone for a while.
so currently i'm looking for a full time job, which is scary, but also exciting, i went onto idealist.org and there seemed to be plenty of decent jobs i'm qualified for with non-profits... i either want to work housing non-profits or women's groups... something of that nature. i figured if i get like $30,000/year... that's really good money by my standards. i can totally survive and then some on that... very exciting to feel like i could actually get my life in order and not be depending on anyone!
anyway, back to the job search for now!
