anarcha

so i saw billy bragg last night and had a wonderful evening... unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any sex in my near future (well at least not until my sexy dutch lover comes to visit in like a month)... okay so i'm a wimp when it comes to not getting any sex... but its better to wait than to sleep with somebody i don't really want. i learned that lesson last year, i am teaching myself how to have a little bit of self control.... anyway, the braggart was very very good. i'd never seen him before, he had adopted the persona of johnny clash cuz his voice was all gravelly and fucked up, so he had to rework all his songs to a lower register. but it was quite good overall, he played alot of my favorite love songs and all my favorite political songs, and the venue was amazing, the concert hall at the NY society for ethical culture-- its like an old church and its very small, great acoustics, and we had excellent seats.
Anyway, now back to my boring life of writing this thesis (it is coming along well by the way and maybe soon i will start posting installments of it in my journal--let me know what you think) I just want it to be done and its almost there, but the pressure is really on now as i have tons of work to finish by the end of the month, which is rapidly approaching. i just wish i could focus a bit more!
