well, my house hasn't been blown away by Rita (not yet, anyway), so i'm pretty happy right now for that. i kinda wish we would have gotten more rain outta the deal, tho.....my grass is just about dead from this stupid Texas summer heat.
my cousin stuck around down in Houston for the whole deal....at first, i thought he was crazy, because of Rita being a Cat4, but it turns out she went down to a 3 before landfall, so everything's all ok with him.
oh well, i guess i'm gonna go watch my Stargate & Battlestar Galactica that's recorded on my Tivo from last night, cause i had to work while they came on....hopefully the wind didn't cause too much interference with my DirecTV dish....
