being broke sucks ass
and i've got to get some new clothes and travel to Austin this weekend for my cousin's wedding, too. i really hate having to borrow money....
but i think i'm gonna try to get a bunch of stuff together that i don't want and don't really need, and put it up for sale. it will help make me some $$$, and get the stuff outta my house at the same time.
i don't really want to, but i'm even thinking about selling my TV.....i have a 51" Sony widescreen HDTV. it would be kinda good to get rid of it, tho, because it takes any 720p and 1080i signals and down-converts them to 480p anyway....but then again, i still love my TV. it may be for the better in the end, tho, because later on when my finances improve, i can get something that actually displays the picture in true 720p or 1080i.
i think i could probably live with using my computer monitor for a TV for a while anyway, since the only shows i really watch a lot nowadays is Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, and Battlestar Galactica. hell, i may even decide to get my DirecTV/Tivo service turned off for a while and just download those episodes off the internet to watch them, instead of worrying about having to set my Tivo to record them. that would save me about another $45/month....
why, oh why, can't i just win the lottery and not have to worry about this shit?

eh, at least if i won the lottery, i could worry about other shit, and not have to worry about how i'm gonna eat lunch for the next week until i get paid, or how i'm gonna put gas in my car to go to work and stuff.....
