well, i went to the NIN show in Houston on the 19th, and it fucking ROCKED!!! my legs & neck are sore, and my hearing was kinda screwy for about a day, but it was WELL worth it. i just wish i could have gotten general admission tickets and gone into the pit.....that would have kicked some MAJOR ass!
my cousin & i went, and it turns out we got a couple of free tickets. some guys were standing on the corner of the block where the arena was at, and were handing out free tickets. we thought it was some kind of scam at first, but they said all we had to do is take a pamphlet titled "Outcry in the Barrio", something about turning to god or something, and read it, and they gave us each a free ticket.
we had already bought our tickets, so we used those to get in, then went and checked out both sets of seats, and it turns out the free tickets were better seats than the ones we actually bought. so we kept the free tickets (after verifying that they scanned as valid tickets), and called a couple friends of my cousin and told them to haul their ass down there quick-like.
the opener was Death From Above 1979, a two-person group, who was actually pretty fucking good for being only 2 people. the drummer also did the vocals, and the other guy played bass & synth. then there was Queens of the Stone Age, and NIN themselves. i can't believe that this is the first time i've gotten around to going to see NIN, they just fucking owned that show....
and GOD DAMN, there were so many fine-ass girls at that show, goths, punks, you name it, they were there, and most of them were gorgeous.....
the only thing that really sucked is that i didn't get a t-shirt, because they didn't have a size that would fit me after it's been washed a few times and shrunk, and the material was pretty flimsy....it would not have lasted very long.

That was my first time so see NIN and it was defiently a concert like no other!! That would be great if you could resize some pix for me...do I need to send them to you...not too tech savvy here....later!
