So this evening I have a fillet steak and bottle of Chilean Carmenere. I've not quite got to grips with the new layout here. Goes to show how little I've used the site since the change.
Anyway, it's all turned to shit. It seems my business partner is unprofessional and without personal motivation. His fiancee is a venemous leprechaun, so I've walked.

i'm still alive. The pub business is going well. I'm so caught up in what I'm doing I barely have the time to think of anything else, let alone step back and get perspective. Online time is also few and far between. My creative energy is as soaked up as my time. I've not commented or even read anyone's journals lately. Are you all well?

don't worry about the uncertainty, you're doing what feels right, and if it doesn't work out, then you can deal with that if it ever happens. but the point is that it hasnt happened and therefore you don't need to deal with those kinds of thoughts now.

michelle is right, the security sets in a wee bit later. just try and enjoy the chaotic excitement for now.

Finally got internet. I've gone in to the Pub business and have little or no spare time. Grandfather died yesterday. For the best, but that's what people say when someone dies isn't it? More later...

Its funny, but I get all excited for you each time I hear some update from you on that venture, and now your finally confirming that your plan is indeed off the ground and running and again im so excited for you but part of me also feels like crying a little bit. Really, for the best is something people only say when the old die. I suppose the thinking is best to be done with it before you have to go through some wasting long death. Im sure thats a notion that you understand. But mostly i think its a religious thing. Either way, I believe sometimes it can be for the best for the one who is passing even if its not for those left behind. Some people just seem to be ready to die. I can only imagine how busy you are now, but if you find the time you know where to find me and feel free to tell me all about....anything. I miss hearing from you!
