Well indeed. Update time I feel. What is there to update? Birthday was amusing, thanks to all for the wishes and a big *hellooo* to numerous new friends who were sweet enough to drop by and say happy birthday. I don't normally like birthdays all that much, they kind of lost their appeal after I reached about 16. Still, it was a good one. Naturally I got hideously drunk and invented a rather swish drink involving Chilli vodka, fresh kiwi and ginger cordial among other things. A definate moment of inspiration.
About to start jury service which is cool but means I will be fucked for money as I'm not formally employed and cant claim loss of earnings. My own fault for avoiding conventional jobs, careers etc. Hopefully I won't be one of the unlucky ones who gets stuck on some five month case...
Irish girl definately off the list. She totally backpeddled on the "I'm not after a relationship" situation and hasn't called since I told her exactly how I felt. I hope she's not pissed at me since all I was saying was that I still meant what we both said to eachother when we first met. Sometimes people take these things rather personally though.
The horrible truth, and something I sure as hell wasn't going to tell he,r is that actually I think I could handle another relationship now, just not with her. That makes me feel a bit mean for seeing her in the first place But, for those of you who weren't following my facinating life at the time, the only reason we were seeing eachother is because we both understood the other one wasn't interested in anything more than friendship with perks.
I guess I forgot that those sorts of situations almost never work.
So the ex has buggered back off to India. Hooray. She didn't forget my Birthday though, and strangely I really wanted her to. Not Hooray. At least her mother is finally leaving me alone. She left me a message to give the ex's number in India "I know she'd really love it if you called". Then she made some sort of appeal for me to go round and pick up a bottle of rhubarb vodka she made me. I'd rather brave the fires of the underworld...
Reviewing swish bars has been fun, I have two online already and another two on the way. FluidStyle hasn't actually launched yet but when it does I'll link all of ya so you can see what a drinks facist I am!
