First update of the year eh?!
I haven't updated because I haven't had a lot to say really. The year so far has gone well, but quietly. My computer decided to be a bitch so I've forked out for a new and oh so fancy one. I really treated myself this time. It's shiny!
Otherwise work is going well enough, although I've been a bit lazy recently. I went up to York to see a friend for a long weekend from Saturday till Tuesday. I'd never been before, and didn't realise what a pretty town York was! The minster was spectacular, but unfortunately I didn't take my camera.
My mate Freddie and I have so far stuck to our new years resolution of having a wine tasting session once a week where I cook something which should match the wine we're drinking, we bring a bottle each, be wine nerdy for about 20 minutes before we just neck the rest. It's drunkenness dressed up as culture. Excellent!
I've not been so good on the going out and taking advantage of London the last few weeks, but I've been away and stuff so I'm not beating myself up about it. I've got some work to do this evening but perhaps once I've dispatched that I'll get my arse in to gear and check on-line for some live music or something.

That bollocking was completely justified and I've laid there all night saying exactly the same things to myself!
