anaphalaxis

So this evening I have a fillet steak and bottle of Chilean Carmenere. I'm going to roast some new potatoes and garlic, steam some asparagus and do a rosemary, red wine and pepper sauce for the steak. Thought I'd treat myself. Life has been a bit crap lately. I'm finding it quite hard to motivate myself and while I'm socialising as much as I can I'm not really doing much exciting- just meeting with friends in the pub. I crave a group dynamic, as well as a bit of physical contact. I'm in a total rut, and I know all I have to do is will myself out of it, but I'm finding that hard.

Life around here is very different. I never had an enormous friends list, as I didn't fire off friends requests lightly (so if you're on it you should feel oh so special!), and I wasn't expecting many of the people who I knew nearly 2 years ago to still be around.
The site feels different. It feels busier, but also more hostile. So much bickering and bitching on the boards and in groups. People flare up so easily. Am I just getting old?
There are also SO many more SGs now. It's almost as though SGs and Hopefuls outnumber normal girls. I imagine that's why some of the older girls have left: doesn't feel so special anymore. I'm not sure I have an opinion on that really, but it's something I've noticed. I stopped looking at most of the sets a long time ago.

Anyway, I hope you're all well and doing exciting things! What's next on your agenda?
