I went on my first date since I broke up with Chad. We both had a great time. We have a lot in common. We are both total geeks, we have the same sense of humor (very important to me) so our conversations are always full of banter, wit, and sarcasm, and much more. He came over at the 6, we watched The Animatrix, and talked the rest of the time. Six hours later when I think he's coming over to kiss me he tells that our age difference is too great and that he just wants to be my friend. I had already explained that I like older men because they are more mature and that I haven't dated anyone younger than 25. He didn't budge. I was extremely disappointed but I said ok anyways. He has come over to hang out again and of course it was awesome but I don't know how long I will be able to be friends with him. I like him too much to be just friends and i've done that whole friends thing before. It sucked. He and I are supposed to get together again tomorrow so we won't be sad on V-day. It will be a blast i'm sure.
