i wish i was part of the harry potter cult. for some reason i cant get into the books, dont like the movies much, and the sight of "harry potter" in that leather vest trying to be all sexy like made me wanna spew (y does american news feel that thats news? "oh god harry potters all grew up, lets c the pics over n over n over again".) but anyway. i was dragged to the midnight release of the book by my best friend, it was fun i guess. my only concern, there were cops EVERYWHERE. what did they think was going to happen in a few hours, in a small city, inside a book store swarming with kids? i may just be bitter though. i was one of the geeks on line 4 the wii release. we were there camping out for 3 days or so, mostly adults, out on the street, with expensive stuffs (laptops, gas powerd heaters, tents, dogs, etc), in the winter. and lets keep in mind people got shot over the console wars but there was only an occasional drive by during the wee hours of the morning. my point i guess is, WTF?
