So today I learned that my ex-girlfriend now works for Spin magazine in New York. I'm very happy for her, and she is awesome and is perfect for it, but damn if it doesn't put a few things into perspective.

What a ridiculous night. Hopefully tonight will be more so, as The Modern Skirts are in town, and I plan to spend the night with a total stranger.
A pretty good day at work, all in all. Sure, i was there for over 13 hours but I made a decent amount, and the 20 odd Germans were fascinated by my knowledge of Fassbinder films.
If I keep having days like this, that new car will be just around the corner.

Another day another dollar. As the money to be made dwindles at tha Joint, I become more and more excited to get back to ATL. I'll have to start looking for a place soon, but for now I'm just enjoying new Yaris, or Yeti or whater Toyota is calling the new Echo. Same tiny car, tho. but with 45 miles to the gallon I call...
