Sometimes I hate the fact that I have like five blogs, cause I never update any of them.

So, riddle me this Batman...

Let's pretend for a second you consider yourself an artist, or would like to anyway (bonus points if you ARE). You are still struggling through school to get a degree that is literally just a piece of a paper, and will have no bearing on any kind of job...

And then you lose your financial aid.

It is possible to still get private loans from banks, but you are also frustrated by the fact that you don't think you belong in school in the first place. However, you are three semesters away from graduating...

Considering all of this, would you think it is a good idea to pick yourself up, and move to Gainesville, Florida to intern for your favorite record label?

I need you to tell me all the reasons that this is a terrible idea.

I usually go with my gut. And if I'm not happy in a situation and something sounds like it's fulfilling (and not a quick escape), I generally go for it. That's how I ended up in Chicago, which was imperative to my growth and fulfillment. And that is why I'm going to Amsterdam next fall.

Gainesville is interesting. I had a lady-friend who went to the community college down there for zoo tech program. 'Taint my up of tea, but diff'rent strokes!

School will always be there, opportunity only show's its face when it's convenient only to the opportunity. Take chances, follow hunches, lean into the wind and let the unknown support you.
