I really hate loose ends and hovering about with no direction. I just wish I knew!

Ok, so...I have been in college for seven years (five at my current institution.) After all that time, I am still not officially in my major, and my GPA has slipped below a 2.0. Basically, I have a choice, I can attempt to stay and fix all of this and actually graduate. Or, I can move to Chicago, get a job and start paying back my crap-load of debt (oh, and go to a ton of shows in my free time.) I have a meeting with my advisor on the 30th to discuss my options and stuff...

I hate the waiting. I wish I knew now, so I could be working on my portfolio for review...seriously, I don't want to bother with something like that unless I know I'm going to stay. Plus, NOONE passes their first review anyways...UGH!

We also bought a huge stack of CDs from Amoeba, which included the entire Cub discography. I wanted to buy some Jawbreaker vinyl, but my record player is on the fritz and I've vowed to not buy any vinyl until its fixed or I get a new one (I'm bad at this promise to myself, as over the last few months I've acquired several new 7"s.) We also got a couple DVDs, including a first pressing Criterion Collection of Yojimbo! And I bought some manga for the trip home...Deathnote owns.

Also...a few pictures! I took a bunch more the day we went Land's End, but I haven't developed them yet. I always forget to take my camera places, and I hate those kind of "family snapshots" kind of vacation pictures, so...but these are mostly that kind of thing...blah!


The house on the right is where we stayed. Ectasia's uncle Steve's house. It's the nicest house on the block by far! It was sooooo gorgeous inside and out!
