Saturday round up...
Sweet action. Summerfest is way too expensive if you are only going for two hours to see one fucking band! However, if that band happens to be Rise Against, and half-way through the show you finally end up with good "seats" (see: a good spot to stand on a bleacher) and they play two encores the first of which includes a beautiful accoustic rendition of Jawbreaker's Tour Song, it was still 15 dollars well spent as far as I'm concerend.
Oh, and if you happen to find a FREE Summerfest Sponsor ticket discarded on the ground on your way back to your friends car...well, that's just a nice bonus, because now you don't have to pay shit to see Streetlight Manifesto, Less Than Jake and good old Reel Big Fish on July 4th, do you?
And, when you found your good seats, you met up with one of your best friends, and this cool chick...and then end up walking all over Milwaukee after the show, and then talking to your beautiful fiancee who is a million miles away across the fucking ocean to round out a good night...
All in all...the best day I've had in quite some time.
