Sitting on my bed, eating Wizz Fizz, feeling good about life!

So - best thing just happend. Managed to leave things with Emo-fringe on a really good note, hopefully will have some chance of staying friends with him after I get back.

Almost exactly 72 hours until I leave. I'm loving the fact that I'm down to hours!!!

Finished, and handed in, my Theory of Knowledge essay on Epistemic Contextualisation and my Metaphysics essay on Truth in Fiction. I finally understand what epistemic contextualisation is, which makes me happy, becasue I've struggle a bit with epistemic concepts this semester, the whole thing just makes me feel a bit... woozy.

My metaphysics essay was one of the easiest things I have ever written. I got special permission to write on a topic not from the list, because while I understand David Lewis' Truth In Fiction theory I do, infact, disagree with parts of his Analyses.

SPOILERS! (Click to view)
For example, Lewis' ANALYSIS 2 reads A sentence of the form "In fiction f x" is non-vacuously true iff, whenever w is one of the collective belief worlds of the community of origin of f, then some world where f is told as known fact rather than fiction and x is true differs less from the world w, on balance, than does any world where f is told as known fact and f is not true. It is vacuously true iff there are no possible worlds where f is told as known fact.
and I think it should read A sentence of the form "In fiction f x" is non-vacuously true iff, whenever w is one of the collective belief worlds of the community of origin of f, then some world where f is known fact and x is true differs less from the world w, on balance, than does any world where f is known fact and f is not true. It is vacuously true iff there are no possible worlds where f is known fact.
Subtle, but - I believe warrented, and for good reason that I will not go into here.

Apart from that, might be going to have a drink with Laura, which will be good. Just quiet, but nice none the less.

Edited to add: I have caved to the popularity contest...

A triple major?

Good Lord woman, are you nuts?

Or maybe just really ambitious.

I don't think I've ever heard of a triple major. Double, yes.

Anyways, it's very impressive.
