Why are people such scum. A few weeks ago I had my check stolen at work. It was signed because I was going to go to the bank on my break between shifts and didn't have enough time. I put it in my managers desk for safe keeping during the show. It wasn't there when I went to get it. No one believed me that I actually put it in there, even though I asked my manager for permission because too many people were going in the employee only area. He gave me the money for the check and just called today to say the check had been cashed. Now some asshole has the money I was supposed to pay my manager back with and my name and bank account number. I am changing that infrmation tomorrow. I know it was retarded to have a signed check but I didn't anticipate on getting off of work so late and figured it would be somewhat safe in the office away from where all the drunk assholes who feel they work at my bar if they are playing a gig there and invite all their friends to go where they please and do what they want. I am going to hunt down whoever took my fucking check and give them a lovely Bostonian pissed off Anais reality check.
