I've been attempting to pick one moving thought in my head, grab it, hold it down for 5 minutes and see if I can convince it to move on and let the next thought through. It seems to work allright during the late hours of the night. I'm trying to eliminate as much on my task list so I can feel less like a lazy procrastinator and concentrate on stabalizing and examining myself. I suppose it's all about trial and error and finding those rare moments where I can deal with the tedious bits in life that can often be put off for too long.
