its a secret at the moment though so i cant say anymore.
So instead i will tell you about a very importnant person in my life. My dad.
I absolutely adore this man, although he has never played a major part in my life, we are so similar we get on so well. He is 61 now and having the time of his life.
In his glory days (before he met my mom, he was quite a well known mod and northern soul dj. everyone wanted him (so he says) and he met my mom when she was just 16 at one of his dj nights (she had managed to sneak out without being caught).
When i was younger he used to work permanent nights cause all he ever wanted to do was provide for us. My mom and i barely ever saw him as he was always at work or asleep, he really didnt have much of a life. In the end my mom got fed up and had an affair.
When they split up my heart broke, and i dont think i have ever been the same. I chose to live with him over my mom and we lives like house mates, like best mates. He was never like a normal dad he is just so cool and laid back.
When i was in my last year of school, my mom decided i should live with her and so i have to move out. The day i moved out for the first time ever i saw my dad cry. As i climbed into the removal van, i looked back and as he stood on the door step, he broke down. That image haunts me.
My mom and dad have both had some horrid relationships since, but are both happy now so thats ok.
My dad did the best thing ever which i will always admire him for. He was so sick of his life and his job, he met a woman on the internet, and decided that he was 57 years old and it was now or never so he went to Scotland to meet her.
Thats her up there ^^^^ Emma. She is amazing. He knew she was the one right away and he sold everything he owned and moved to Scotland to be with her. And they are the most amazing, perfect couple you could ever imagine.
Emma is absolutely mental, she laughs constantly and is so bubbly and cares so well for my 'old man' as she calls him.
My dad is also an amazing judge of character, when i took my current bf to meet him, my bf was so rude! I could have ended the relationship on the spot for that but i didnt. cause im a fool.
If my dad doesnt like you. You have got no chance with me. I wish i had listened to my dad before, then i wouldnt have to do what i am doing now and would already be single.
