We went down to Santa Rosa last night. Had crappy applebees and saw children of Men.
HOLY SHIT if you haven't seen the movie. GO. If your waiting to see it on DVD cause your a cheap bastard. GO to the theater. Ok so it didn't have the twist and turns I was expecting but it was still one of the best movies i've seen in at years (not counting any "epic" movie)
Then at midnight we got Burning Crusaides.
All in all it was nice night out. Only one hickup... We were talking about science and art and advancement and some where in there E. managed to through a jab about me getting a job. It was out of no where and it hit me across the face like a slap ... it stung and pulsed with intent for a while. He apologized for killing the mood. (we were debateing ethics and life wich one of the things that we just love to do) I think it hurt so much cause. E. and i are at our truest self when we are debateing eachother. We're equals. But we hardly ever bring anything from our lives in to the conversations.
Most of the rest of the ride home was silence or talk about nothing... his work my ideas for centerpieces. just noise to fill the silence.
Now its the next day and he stayed home from work. He says its to go to the doctor. (I think he has really bad posion Ivy. ) but my guess is he'll be playing wow soon.

I liked children of men alot and it was worth the 9 dollars to see it in portland lol
