How great that Chicago has opened her pretty arms and welcomed me so nicely

Thanks to everyone who is making my move so much easier!

This week has been busy and a bit overwhelming, I crashed and burned last night (pretty poor effort for my second weekend in town, but I'll make up for it tonight )

I started work on Monday, and have had 10+ hour days all week. Insane, it's killing me getting up so early and being in an office all day. I'll get used to it again I guess, it's interesting being back in the corporate world after such a long time away.

Wednesday I went to the "Wes Anderson Rocks" concert at the Metro. A bunch of local Chicago bands playing the music from his movies - I didn't really know any of it but it was great to get out and have a drink.

Thursday I met the gorgeous Aural, Esme, Olsen, Lady_K and Slumberjacker for a quiet-ish drink. I was pretty mellow as jetlag is killing me, but it was cool to meet the people I've been chatting to for so long

Tonight is a GIRLS NIGHT OUT!! YAY! I'm looking forward to it... Planning on having lots of drink and lots of fun. Yum.

Cleaning my house and shopping today, better get started on that...
