My weekend finished about 2 hrs ago when my plane landed back in Melbourne from my last weekend in Sydney. I had the best time!!
Just taking it easy Friday, then drinks and (blah, crappy) sushi for dinner.
Saturday was totally lazy again, a long, late breakfast at bills2 and a wander through Darlinghurst in the sun. Saturday night we had the most amazing dinner at Tetsuya... oh god, my boy had been wanting to go there for years and it was everything we'd hoped for (I'm such a geeky foodie). 9 courses and 4 desserts, white and red wine, it was heaven!!
Sunday was another brunch out in the sun, and spent the arvo at Manly in disbelief that it was the middle of winter. Lots of laughs at the people braving the icy water and the pretty boys strutting, and sighs as the head turning beach babes walked by. Mmmm i love the beach, bikinis are niiiiiiice
So lots of food, sun and plenty of lovin' from my man! YAY!
Of course, I managed to ruin it by letting my insecurities and paranoia get the better of me once again. I thought I could firgive/forget/move on from various things, but I make it so hard for myself. Meh... i think I'm crazy. Today I definitely am.
Oh I have an interview tomorrow at 9am!! It sounds like a kick-ass job in the marketing team of a big advertising / media company. It sounds sooooo perfect for me, a foot in the door in the marketing industry, a steady income!! Keep your fingers crossed for me, I'm getting better and better at interviews so hopefully I'll clinch this one.
Okay, I need to go practise my answers to "Tell me about a time when ... " and "Three words your friend / manager / colleague would use to describe you" and iron my shirt.
