Arrrrgghhh!!
Viking helmet is a celebration of the recently updated photos from the trip to Iceland a few weeks ago, found HERE
In further news, Im soooo glad it's after labor day, ya wanna know why? Cuz it's time for NCAA football!!!!!!
I was watching on Sat & thinking "I love this shit - this is what the fall/winter is for...waking up with a slight hangover on a Saturday, it's 11am, and it's time for football!"
I went to a big college (Syracuse) ) & so I became sorta addicted to a day of the week where its usually crappy outside (due to rain or lake efect snow), calling up & ordering the BEST wings & wedges in the WORLD from Sal's Birdland, pulling out a 6 pack of some random shit like Genesee or Utica Club, or some Old Milwaukee, and shouting @ tv & players till Im sorta hoarse.
So, this leads me to thoughts this weekend:
1) I am wicked envious of Mya, Monica, or anyone else in Syracuse or Rochester who have access to Sal's. These wings & such, they are NOT hot wings, nothing at all like them. They are friend, then backed for super crispyness. Then you have your blue cheese & also the infamous Sal's Sassy Sauce, which is semi-leathal. Dont ever spill it on your clothes - not only does the phospheresant yellow stain like a motherfucker, but you can never go near a black light again - its like the most hyper bright glow in the world! Another huge benefit of Sal's is not from the food, but from the way I learned to eat them...see, everyone grabs the drummettes first, since its easy to eat those, but the little wings, the wingettes, they are harder to get to. So I was lucky enough to learn the "Twist-pull-push" method of eating chicken wings. It's amazing, in 3 seconds you go from hard to eat wing to mouth poppin' boneless beauty! It's always the little things that make me happy in this world...
and
2) Altho I attended many a big football game, I never got the full NCAA experince Ive always wanted....see, The Carrier Dome is where we had our games, and tho it's big, and hold like 30,000 or more people, it's just not a HUGE experience, and it's got a dome, which means winter/fall games, there's no suffering, no deafening crowds...I am making it a goal of mine this fall to go to a REAL stadium game....Penn State holds like 80-100,000 fans, Ohio State holds like 75,000, Michigan is like 90,000, basically they are fucking huge. Filled to the brim with screaming freaking out drunk fans. This is where I wanna be, to experience NCAA ball. On top of that, the games at these schools, and others like Wisconsin, or other Big 10 , etc schools, this is like a religion, these games are massively fun & important! SU is like the last big school in the Big East, and since Miami left, there's no huge rivalry or match ups. Who is SU playing this week? I think it's East Carolina. WHERE is East Caolina??? what state?? You cant get 95,000 screaming idiots for a school with a made up state name, now can you?
So, my point is, not only do I wanna make a voyage (viking reference inferred) to a big stadium school this fall, but I also wanna see if anyone else is up for Saturday NCAA get togethers for some wings, beers & games.
Any takers? (I'd ask in SGNY but Im not an actual member yet, so ya'll can ask around on my behest)...

a) youre in Antartica - super cool, but why?
Work, flight from prosecution. All the reasons one would really enjoy coming to the Ice paradise. And for the record I do a ton of things here, but suffice it to chasing cargo, chasing tail, and maintaining my nails.
b) you have enough people where you are for an S&M party/community?
Indeed. This group is the biggest bunch of kink dogs I have ever met. We did a S&M Rave last year, and I kid you not, I probably spanked more than 3/4 of the population down here. It was amazing wicked fun, and it was interesting to see just how varied this population is.
c) I just looked @ some pics - 1) youre adorable! 2) you have enough room/need to pack youre corsets & PVC?
Aww shucks.
Indeed. You have to bring the important things. Point of fact I brought a huge freaking piece of luggage to fit all of my corsets, vinyl, boots, and then some. I am the girl you go to for wardrobe needs. Provided of course you are as tiny as I am.
d) how long are you there for?
I have been here for almost 2 years. I did a full one year, and this time I will have been here for 10 months, as I am required to take at least 6 weeks off. I will leave here in October, and return late December, early January.
e) is there a journal entry explaining all of this you can point me to so I dont make you crazy answering it all?
If you are so inclined I have a private group, called SG Antarctica. I only have it private so that any Antarcticans that wish to come out of the cube, can do so, and we can determine how not to infringe on each other.
Whew! I need more coffee....
