Quicky update-
1) Went to Boston end of the week for visit my friend & his wife, had a good time, tho I guess we have less in common now then we did when we were boozing like idiots in college..
2) Raced back to the city on Sat night to make it to the SGNY event - Had a really good time tho I didnt have too many long conversations - I think alot of that is newness here, getting to know some people offline, and my unintentional yet over the top inbibing of 8 or 9 beers in the 4 or 5 hrs I was there...it was hot, I was not talking, hat to keep cool & keep my mouth occupied, right? (ok, walking into a slew of jokes there...)
But, it was great to meet alot of SG peeps, and thru the drunken mumbles & slurring I think I made a few friends.
I dont think I told Amina that she's one of my fav SGs, but maybe I did - she & her Ol man Elzig --both were really cool. So were alot of people, I just keep getting names all mixed up (birth names vs SG handles)..
3) I leave tomorrow for Vermont for a few days of fun: visiting a 'friend' whom I know from Alt.com & shes into wearing her Univ of Kansas cheerleading uniform while being dominated, so this should be a nice trip. For once it's good to be single....
4) Got the tix & details in the fed ex last night from Iceland Air, so I need to prep some details for the trip, determine if I can recharge my digital camera there, get some booze @ the duty free, and have a fucking blast! I leave on the 26th, and I cant wait!
5) Im a bit scared about the month being over - I was taking this month to rest up, mentally unwind, sit in the sun & read books, travel a bit, and determine what I want to do for work come Sept 6th. Well, I seem to still do work every other day for the past 16 days, Im a fucking TMJ stresscase, there's been a ton of rain, I am travelling, and I have no idea what the fuck business to start up in Sept that will be profitable. Im tinkering with the idea of a Lojack knockoff product, but I would only do that if I could own a % in the parent company. I think I need to make a few calls here...

How many drinks did you say you had? You and I spent 1/2 hour talking about how I'm a Social Worker, and how your ex-wife is a Social Worker, and how I'm starting back at Fordham in September for my PhD, and how you live like a block away from Lincoln Center, yada yada yada. Any of this ring a bell? Next time we talk I'll have to catch you earlier in the night before you get loaded so you'll remember the conversation the next day! Just kidding. It was great meeting you Saturday night and I hope to have the pleasure of hanging out again!
