yeah, the bars and clubs are packed every night - people go out very late and stay out late - this placekaffibarinn was the hot spot at the time i was there, but you can just stroll around downtown and pop into different places.
oh yeah, this sounds weird but i advise buying some alcohol at the duty free to keep in your hotel room, so you can start drinking BEFORE you go out, since alcohol (and esp. beer) is pricey. food is also semi-expensive, think london prices if that helps. the seafood is great everywhere, and i also have fond memories of a really good hot dog that i got from a stand at the blue lagoon after having spent a couple of hours in the water.

2. Thank you. If only messageboard comments could be referenced in job interviews... I'd be all "go look on the Dirty Talk board where I bitched some guy out for making a misogynistic comment! Behold my fabulous written and verbal communication skills!" and they would hire me immediately.
3. Yeah it is a very feminine design. Which isn't a bad thing, but I doubt they'd print it. But I like to read what people think of stuff that I make.
