Welcome to the SGCT group. I noticed a response you made to another member's journal that you were going to a TES meeting. I went to TESFest a few weeks ago. How was the meeting? I've thought about going, but I didn't know if I'd really meet women there. Have you ever been to Flux in New Haven or Bound Hartford?

Thanks for the description; that's exactly what I was afraid of and that's why I've been hesitant about attending an event. The Fest was great because it was big and, well, "festive." 
Those CT events I mentioned are fun but they're more dance parties with a tiny bit of kinkiness on the side. The Playground in Philadelphia once a month is fun, but it's in... Philadelphia. But, I've been to it once and enjoyed it, so if you get a chance to go I'd recommend it.
