Ok, I got back from Amsterdam a few days ago, I think I have learned that I always bust my buget in that town by around 300$, I will be keeping that in mind next time (March at latest). Oh, by the way for those reading this I will be organizing a trip to Amsterdam in March for around 9-10 days, I will cover and arrange airfare and Hostel for 1000$ (direct flight from Cincy and staying in a Hostel). Anyway, fell in love again in Amsterdam, her name is Gloria, I truly will never forget this beautiful girl. I also spent a great deal of time in the coffee shops, too much so I am afraid, but I had a very relaxing vacation from my vacation, its back to work this week. I will be reading around various cafes in Berlin this week, and attempting to manage enough cash to venture back to Amsterdam for two more nights to see Gloria before I leave for the States.

I have less than a month left in Europe before heading back to the Hills of Oxford Ohio. It is kind of depressing to say the least. Things will move into a high gear as I take qualifying exams, study for the GRE to take again in November, finish my thesis, etc. I also want to pick up a part time job, around 20 hours a week if I can. But that is a way off.

Yesterday I went to Live 8 in Berlin with about 200,000 other people from all over the world. Live 8 was huge. Green Day and Audioslave were the highlights of the show for me, Brian Wilson was almost religious to see in concert. Where Will Smith did some mcing at the Philadelphia show, Claudia Schiffer was here, though most of the croud seemed to be there to see Der Totten Hsen, which I can appreciate (being native and all to Germany), but I was happy to see my fellow Americans play, Green Day had already won me over years ago, and in the 90s I was a Soundgarden and Rage fan, but seeing them live, and at an event with so much creative and necessary attention embedded in it, has made me a ``fan`` of Audioslave.
