I think that my month long mixup with depression is finally catching up to me. I thought I would actually make it to my birthday without getting ill too! Ha, no, I spoke to soon. I think I either got what Melissa had (I saw her Saturday, see below), or I got it from Dr. Cherney on Thursday (which would mean that it has a long incubation period). So I have a head cold. I think that my body is trying to clear all this moroseness out of my body on its own; it may be working too, well see I guess.
I am supposed to be watching Citizen Kane right now; I have to discuss it at 2 this afternoon. Ill get through a bit of it by then. I also purchased a new (used) DV camera on e-bay yesterday. I am looking forward to getting my hands on it for sure.
So this weekend. I saw slim on Friday and was determined not to be thrown into a bad mood as a result. Erin suggested that I get away, so I did. I dropped by the parents on Friday night. However, if one is to try to feel better about oneself, my parents (for me) are not the people to go see. So then I went up to Columbus on Saturday. I saw Melissa, she looked great, as well. Her hair was dyed a purple and she was wearing the boots she wore when we met. We went out for sushi then to gallery hop and we saw some artwork put up in stained skin by one of her friends.
This weekend I also spoke with Shawn quite a bit. We caught up with each other, and it seems we are still moving in similar directions. He is doing well, still working and still playing music; hes married now. I also spoke with Jamie, who I hadnt had contact with since this past summer. She is doing ok, trying to get back on her feet. She went back to Michael for a while, then got into some trouble, and is now living with her aunt.
I have no idea what I am doing this weekend. Next monday (Valentines day) is the one year anniversary of my car getting stolen after the Suicide Girls burlesque show in Columbus. Then the following weekend I am supposed to go see Eric in Nashville. Now it is time to catch up on work.
