ammonius

So I ran into an old friend, Mark, last night. He has broken up with his girlfriend of 4 years and is now out on the prowl. He said something about having a bottle of Absinth left form 1998/9 when we made some home brew back in the day; that wouldve been from my third batch ever. I am thinking about making a batch now, and then comparing it with one from half a decade ago, I wonder if I have gotten any better. We saw these girls at the bar, and went home with them for a while; Wendy and Hidey, nothing really happened, Mark was being awkward (worried about his age vs. theirs, and trying to get back on the flirting track and away from the boyfriend track), we drank some good beer. The girls were really cool. Hidey is into photography, and mark and her talked quite a bit. Wendy, is a student of French and English Literature; what a great combo, Battaile anyone? Tomorrow I have a luncheon where I meet everyone in my new departmental home, I am a bit anxious about that; my work load is pretty big this semester; but I will pull through lots of work will make Ammonius a very busy boy.
