GTA with Whip-cream on Top: the true and faithful recollection of the events of February 14th, 2004.
(the names have been changed to protect the innoce(er), the people that were with me.) Just the facts folks; sorry, just the facts.

Upon leaving the Waiting Room Espresso Lounge on High Street, I was accompanied by my friends Capt. O and Big D. We went to Ds place where we met with and brought his Roommate, Lone Star, along with us to the Suicide Girls Burlesque show.

I parked the car around 8:30pm at 1151 N. High street and went to Little Brothers.

Went to the Burlesque Show. I saw my good friend Ramia, and a met a few of his sidekicks. I also encountered some women that I had met the previous night at Jets place. Unfortunately the older sister of Rowan wasnt at the show; I had met her on the 13th and was hoping to run into her again soon. The opening bands were not bad at all, though I am no great musical critic, and am not really attached to a particular genre, artist, or style of music; I consider any music that 1) moves me or 2) moves others, to fulfills the magical requirements of musical engineering. These two bands fashioned both.

The Suicide Girls were mingling amongst the crowd, all of them beautiful, alluring, and desireable. When the show began I managed to get my ass up towards the front of the crowd. Gentlemanly, I let the women who were shorted than I steel a place in front of me. Each of the short strip teases was more and more aggressive than the last. Each built the crowds appetite beyond the previous course. I fell in love with each and every one of the displays. These girls have a personality and grace that expresses an erotic playfulness reminding me that sorcery is not a dead or fictional art.

The finally of the show, the Girls dancing and covering themselves (and the front portions of the audience) with chocolate syrup and whip-cream was a delight. I was slathered in chocolate by the hand of Shera and Violet portioned out her final kiss for me from stage. That lit up my world. I love these girls. The adventure only begins here however

Upon returning to the parking lot, mind you, I am CoVeReD in syrup, we discovered the car was gone. I doubt the cops had had such a sweetly coated inquiry in a while. I called the Columbus police dept of records, it had not been towed, and it had been stolen. There were two policemen there, whom had only been there for a bit more than an hour. So sometime between 8:30 and 12:00 the car was stolen. So my new used car, and the goods inside it were gone (valued more than the car). Big D flagged down a cab and went to his home, where he came back with his car and took Cpt. O and I back to my apt. We went searching for the vehicle in the area of 4th and 8th, if your car ever gets lifted from the Short North/Campus Area, check this place out, I lived there in 94-95 it isnt pretty. We should have started further south though, around 5th and Summit. We did not find the car.

Sunday morning rolls around, and Capt. O and I decide to cruse the area again. We eat at Tim Hortons (I hate chains), and file another police report. After resigning ourselves to failure and bureaucratic notions of insurance claims (a horribly ineffective method of magic) up, we noticed the car at the shell station at the corner of 5th and High. Opposite us at the intersection was a Police Officer, who we flagged down, and met at the gas station. They arrested the kids that stole (and damaged) my car. Furthermore, though the thieves had tried to get into the trunk they either met with no success or didnt realize they were staring at 6,000$ work of media that we had left in the car in our blind rush to the SG show. There was, however, minimal damage to the car itself.

Alls well that ends well, and this wouldnt be a story worth recounting had it not ended well. I had an amazing time at the SG event, and I would love to travel to Cincy tonight, but my car is now getting a damage assessment. I am just one of those people to whom things happen too heres to more adventures, and to the success and celebration of the Suicide Girls!

so just a random note. i like your profile pic, b/c that flag .. back in my old office, at my old university, we had that hanging on our door. so it brings back good memories of grading exams, asbestos, and being too vulgar while profs were listening in.
