The thing I love about living in the Northwest is the mountains... being surrounded by mountains. I shot this on the plane, on the way to Chicago, Friday.



and then coming home tonight, we chased the sunset for the whole flight, and I saw one of the most beautiful gradients I think I've ever witnessed in nature.



I also had one of the only dreams I think I've ever had on a plane, and to make things even more strange I never remember my dreams. I was driving down a gravel road in my old CRX. There was hard rain coming down and it was cold outside. I heard something, or saw something and slammed on my brakes. When I got outside I realized that there was a soaking wet and cold cat crying, and as I went over to her she led me off the road. We walked over to this area and there were three wet kittens in the grass that all came up to me. I bent over with my backpack and they all jumped in and I took them home. The end.

So there you have proof that my love for kitties is unwavering.
