Call me a nerd, But I get satisfaction out of the smallest things. Like tonight.. I just spent the last 2 hours completely tearing down my road bike, figuring it all out, putting it back together, tuning it, and fixing all the issues I was having with it with no help from any kind of manual or anything.. just me, my tools, and a little bit of intuition. Seeing a project go from start to finish, and being successful at my task makes me happier than alot of other things. Putting it back together, and taking it for a ride and feeling how smooth everything works is probably one of the better accomplishments of my day. Fuck manuals, winging it can be a bit of a hassle sometimes, but it's the best way to learn how something works, in my opinion.
Anyways yea.. I think that was the highlight of my night.
In other news.. I bet my cat romeo still has no idea I was pretending to eat his head the other night.. see the calm expression on his face?
I love being a complete weirdo. yay for weirdos!
