I've been sitting here for the last hour or so reading through a new book I bought today at Powell's, the best bookstore in the world. The book is nothing short of incredible. I love drawing new inspiration for the Vegan movement, and learning more about the facts and fallacies of the Meat / Veggie Industries.

So Burningman is fast approaching. The excitement has almost reached a boiling point as I prepare to venture into a land of fantasy, where the possibility to see things, meet people, and have experiences of an extraordinary level are abundant. I'll be camping with a group of the awesomest people on the planet, nestled inside a larger camp of more awesome people, nestled inside a city in the middle of a dry lake bed filled with even MORE awesome people. So yea. Take that.

What would the 'wrong' reasons be?
I have recurring visions of riding La Contessa, drinking rum, and looking out into the desert night.
There's definitely at least one very attractive woman going that I would like to flirt with in an outrageous and baroque way.
Seeing a flat-blacked megaphone skulking in the corner of my studio makes my trigger finger itch.
I want to believe that it is still out there.
It's been a hard year; I need to burn.
