Well it's god damn early in the morning, that's for sure, and normally I shouldn't be up at this hour, but alas responsibilities have made me wake up. I had to take my cat Morpheus to the vet this morning because he's suffering an aural hematoma. Basically, he broke some blood vessels in his ear, which has made his ear swell with blood. Unfortunately this is not a condition that can heal on its own, so he has to have surgery this morning to drain the fluid and repair the damage. Hopefully he'll be home by this afternoon, but we'll see. Damnit, having pets is expensive! $$$$
Now I'm listening to "The Dismemberment Plan - You are Invited" which is the most kick arse song evaaar!
Okay, anyways.. so yea, there is a ton of shit going on today.. Housewarming for some SG Member Friends, Wushu Kwan Dao Class, Friend's Birthday Party, SG Burlesque Tour, Dj I want to see playing at a club, and somewhere in the middle I'm going to try to spend some time out at the Columbia Gorge and get some sun, but we'll see about that. Ugh, why the fuck can't people learn to spread events out over the whole weekend instead of trying to cram them all into one day? Bastards!
I want to take a trip down to SF to see my friends.. I love Portland, but I miss SF and the people there. I was planning a bunch of trips for these upcoming weeks, but we'll see how many I get accomplished.. I have to go back to TN next weekend for a good friend of mine's wedding.. kind of dreading that, but I'm going to do it anyways. Then I'm supposed to be taking a trip to NYC, but I don't know if scheduling is going to work out to make that happen.. then I wanted to go to SF, which could still happen, I'm just waiting for those bastards s5 and Olivia and Fractal to get back to me and let me know when a good time for them is. Then shortly following that, if it happens, is Burningman, which reminds me.. I NEED TO PREP FOR BURNINGMAN! I've been anticipating meeting / knowing someone who has a cheaper ticket to sell.. even though I'm going to be working there, and getting reimbursed, I still want to get a cheap ticket. I can't believe a year has already gone by since last year. The theme this year looks super rad.. I can't wait!
