Michele Foster; That's the name of the very first girl I ever kissed. I was 17 and she was 15.. We used to make eyes at each other from across the room in choir in school. Later on I found out that she'd had a crush on me for the whole year, and I'd been oblivious to it the whole time due to my shyness.. I used to walk down the hall looking at the floor, or singing songs to myself to occupy myself between classes just so I wouldn't have to talk to anyone. One day a friend of mine properly introduced us and we started flirting pretty consistently.. even though I never really took much of it seriously. I've never ever been one to make the first move.. at least at the time, that's for sure, so no matter how much I liked her I never tried to kiss her or anything. We hung out a few times, and she invited me over to her house... after about the third or fourth time of hanging out and still not kissing her even though I knew I wanted to, we were laying there on the bed one night just looking at each other and she leaned over and kissed me. She turned out to be my first girlfriend, and we dated for 8 months until she broke up with me. There is something special about that first experience.. and the first experience you have with anyone.. the anticipation, the excitement, the uncertainty of it all.. not knowing if you'll ever see this person again, or if you'll be with them for the rest of your life. I still remember the tingles I got in my arms and down my back when she kissed me. She lives in California now, the last I heard.
