Time: 8:53 AM
Music: Jimmy Buffett - Margaritaville
Drink: SEA MEN!
Use me when you want to come
I've bled just to have your touch
When I'm in you I want to die
Use me like I was a whore
Relationships are such a bore
Delete the ones that you've fucked
Well it's fucking god damn early in the morning and I'm awake as usual starting my day off right with some good ol' Jimmy Buffett cause I'm such a country bumpkin. This song makes me think about being somewhere tropical, like when i was on the Yucatan Peninsula about 2 years ago. I think I just decided that that is another place I will be going again soon... There is a wildlife reserve on the end of the peninsula called Xel Ha (http://www.xel-ha.com.mx) which is probably somewhere at the top of my list of one of the most beautiful places I've had the pleasure to visit. A couple of other places that I will be making a commitment to visit in the next year or so shall also be:
- Hawaii
- India
- London
- New York
I think with a 3 month span for every trip hitting all of those spots is definitely possible.
Anyways.. Halloween was alot of fun. I posted a pic in my candids of my gay makeup from the night. I ended up not wearing the spike collar because I thought my neck looked nice without it..but you get the idea. I really wanted to go as Jack from the BEST GODDAMN MOVIE OF ALL TIMES (The Nightmare Before Christmas), but I slacked and didn't give myself enough time to prepare the costume. Thanks to
mobprod for hosting the swank Halloween bash.. I had a good time making fun of people and blinding everyone with the flash from my camera.
As a side note.. I ventured out into mass consumer land last night to go to Target. My original plan was to pick up a keyboard so I could practice for the classical piano lessons that I've been taking, but Target is stupid and didn't have any keyboards on the shelves, but had them in the back and still wouldn't sell them to me. Anyways, while I was on my way to this flourescent box shaped example of gluttonous america, I ended up behind a doubstack semi hauling rows and rows of live chickens in cages. It was pretty fucking cold outside and despite the fact that these poor creatures were simply born to die it still pisses me off to no end at the way they're treated. A fucking commodity, and not even regarded as being humanely treated. The same goes for cows.. hundreds of cattle die each year simply from the trauma of transit from the farm to the slaughter house.. and if they don't die from stress, starvation, dehydration, or overcrowding, many die from being exposed to the elements as they're stuffed into unprotected metal rigs and hauled for days on end through the rain and snow. Often times cattle die standing up in the rigs after freezing to death, and have to be pried loose from the wall of the semi. I think each and every one of you should go pick up the book Fast Food Nation , read it, and then re-evaluate who you give your mighty dollar to. Fucking RAAAAWR!.. I'm so mad right now. Die Meat Industry, Die in teh fase![/rant]
