After I left you that morning, we were gonna go to bed, but instead we rallied for sunrise and on the way ran into our wonderful friends who we hadn't seen yet, just as the sun was peeking over the mountains.

i'm still swaying as far as going veggie goes... i know i couldn't be 100% vegan-i like cheese way too much. like way too much. it's just really difficult to change lifestyles while trying to heal my head... maybe when i'm healthy again...
but i make a mean vegan potato soup...
i'm just going down because i love sf and the peeps there... i miss them a lot and going early october is the only time i can fit into my schedule...

I worked a lot with the Amb Amb so I had my share of interaction through that. It's a lot of fun to see these random bedraggled dusty folks stumble across our little oasis. Unless they get demanding. That happened a few times...everyone is standing around me waiting for grilled cheese and chai and I am like why don't you CHILL OUT for a minute and I will bring it to you!!!
not to say that I didn't do my share of gossiping, but it was mostly in-camp...That kind of stuff makes one paranoid after a while like "well if they are all talking about that person and I am joining in then what do they say when I am not around about me?" That was a nerve fraying cycle, so some friends of mine and I decided we were going to try to stop...but some people are so EASY to talk about like the kid from some other country who showed up unannounced with another campmate...he brought pistachio nuts! In the shell! I totally chastised him, I was aghast....
