I hope you had fun @ Boom, Boom last night.
It was nice to see you. I think I'm going to have my lovely portrait framed today.

The poet Robert Creeley once told me a story of how when much younger he sat down and wrote two letters, each proposing to a different woman. He threw them out and completely forgot about them until the wife of the friend whose house he had been at when writing them (many, many years ago), who I guess had found and obviously saved them, asked if she could give them over to Stanford (I think that's where his papers are). He said sure.

When asked if that seemed strange, writing to proposals, he just said something along the lines of "I thought that's what you did when you wanted a woman to know you were serious about her."

it's an awesome story. although that day i watched it I had watched another heavy movie and it was just too much.

godammit!! I want to be proposed to! and in just they you were. I mean with an old love coming back and having it be a total surprise. or maybe that's just the movie drama side of me. I think if it were to really happen i wouldn't know how to react.
